Transcription: [double-headed eagle] RUSSIAN IMPERIAL EXHIBIT October 2nd, 1933 Article No. X5153 Small Runner. Made of damask woven with yellow flowers in serpentine design with gold. Trimmed with old gold lace. Russian Circa 18th Century. This damask is from a collection used in the chapels of the Russian Imperial Palaces consisting of handloomed brocades, damasks, hand-cut velvets and altar sets.
