Small Runner. Made of damask woven with yellow flowers in serpentine design with gold. Trimmed with old gold lace. Russian Circa 18th Century.
This damask is from a collection used in the chapels of the Russian Imperial Palaces consisting of handloomed brocades, damasks, hand-cut velvets and altar sets.
