Scope and Contents
Transcription: [double-headed eagle] Article No. RH-5214/33 Charm of clove pink matte enamel, covered with a filigree of gold intricate design of conventional fleur-de-lis and braiding. It was created by the celebrated Russian court jeweler to Nicholai II, Carl Fabergé, and is hall-marked with the initials of his workmaster and the number “56” denoting the Russian equivalent of 14 karat gold. From the quarters of Grand Duchess Olga Nicholaevna, oldest daughter of Nicholai II, in the Alexander Palace, Tsarskoye Selo. Mrs. J. L.
