Transcription: [double-headed eagle] The Schaffer Collection of Russian Imperial Art Treasures Rockefeller Center, New York February 26, 1935 #438 Very fine miniature Easter egg, enameled in a translucent pink and studded with one large and two smaller sapphires and two diamonds mounted in gold. The work of Carl Faberge [sic], famous craftsman of the 19th century who was often referred to as the Cellini of the 19th century. From the private belongings of Olga Nicholaeovna, eldest daughter of Nicholas II, the late Czar of Russia.
