A very fine cane handle of pale reddish jade in a solid gold setting, paneled and enameled in matte white. Superimposed over the surface are crossed arrows of gold, each of which bears in the center a deep-red cabochon-cut Ural stone.
By “Carl Fabergé”, court jeweler to the Russian Imperial family, who is today so often referred to as the “Cellini of the nineteenth century.”
From the collection of the Czarina Alexandra Feodorovna, wife of Nicholas II, the late Czar of Russia.
