#1367
A circular gold box signed by “Carl G. Fabergé”, the celebrated Russian court jeweler.
It is enameled brilliant red over a broad guilloche line pattern, and mounted with intricate little vari-colored gold motifs of interlaced wreaths and rosettes having diamond centers.
Five wreaths ornament the cover and frame a portrait of Catherine the Great which is dated 1773.
