Transcription: [double-headed eagle] The Schaffer Collection of Russian Imperial Art Treasures ROCKEFELLER CENTER NEW YORK #2524 Gold ring mounted with an exceptional emerald of over five carats and of remarkable brilliance and color. The mounting was designed with the greatest simplicity in order to fully bring out the beauty of the stone. Originally in the personal belongings of Nicholas II, the late Czar of Russia.
