Transcription: [double-headed eagle] The Schaffer Collection of Russian Imperial Art Treasures ROCKEFELLER CENTER NEW YORK #2651 Fine Russian lapis lazuli and gold snuff box. It is of cartouche form and is carved out of superb blue Russian lapis with the hinge and rims mounted in gold. The cover bears in the center the gold and diamond studded monogram and crown of Empress Maria Feodorovna, mother of Nicholas II, the late Czar of Russia, and wife of Czar Alexander III.
