Transcription: [double-headed eagle] The Schaffer Collection of Russian Imperial Art Treasures ROCKEFELLER CENTER NEW YORK #2675 Circular ash tray by CARL G. FABERGE, the celebrated Russian Court jeweler. It was executed during the World War from material captured at the front and melted. It is of copper and bears in the center a large Russian Imperial double-headed Eagle. At the top are the words “War 1914”, and at the bottom is the signature “K. FABERGE” in large letters.
